Job Description

German Speaking Technical Support Agents will demonstrate a high level of customer service when helping a customer and if necessary, to escalate “hot” issues to a more experienced agent.

My client produces the full range of build-to-order Macintosh G4 desktop computers, including the recently launched G4 Cube. Over the past 18 months the company has invested significantly in upgrading its manufacturing processes to accommodate the ever increasing demand for customer specific product configurations.

Requirements:

. Have fluent German and English


· Be a confident and enthusiastic communicator


· Have strong organisational and administrative skills


· Be a self-starter who is motivated and innovative


· Previous call centre experience


· An appreciation of the IT environment,


· A high level of computer literacy & knowledge of hardware principles


· Experience of working in a pressurised, target driven environment


· A strong “hands-on” background in a similar environment

Responsibilities:

To provide basic to moderately complex support to customers on the client's products, systems, peripherals and software


· Logging of calls from customers onto the client's database and following escalation procedures to resolve problems or issues.


· To provide and maintain strong, professional relationships with all customers and show empathy for the customers at all times


· Provide complete and appropriate technical solutions for the client's products


· Teach and educate customers on support options, and the steps being taken to resolve their issue.
