Job Description

As Java Developer you will work for an European agency at the gateway to space.
Your specialisation is Java/J2EE, and preferably with some additional experience with Liferay Portal and or web front-end development.

Requirements:

Job description:
• Excellent Java/JSP/Servlet development skills
• Exposure to Portal architecture (ideally Liferay Portal) and portlet development (JSR168/JSR 286 specifications)
• SQL knowledge (preferably Postgres or Oracle)
• Good knowledge of HTML/CSS and Javascript
Any of the following skills would also be an advantage:
• Hibernate
• AJAX
• Struts
• XML/XSLT
• Reporting Tools (Jasper Reports)
• Application Server Administration (JBoss or Oracle AS 10g)

Responsibilities:

Requirements:
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in software development
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (and any other European language)
• Demonstrated analytical abilities
• Team player
