At Moerdijk (Western part of Brabant) the Customer Contact Center is located. From this location all customers and local agents in Europe are dealt with.

Main Tasks

To assist the Controller cost accounting in all aspects of the job and ensure the continuous process of the inventory movement both financial and quantity wise for CK Jeans.

• Assisting in recording in the G/L of Goods in Transit.


• Assisting in the recording in the G/L and reconciliation of Cost of Goods Sold, Cost of Goods Returned and Adjustments in the Inventory on Hand and Goods Received as well as variance recording on goods received.


• Assisting with the inventory roll forward both in quantity and in value.


• Assisting in the explanation of the Capital Variances related to the inventory received and the release of the Capitalized variances related to the Cost of Goods Sold.


• Assisting in the recording of the revenue recognition.


• Assisting in various departmental administrative tasks.


• Assisting in Ad-hoc projects performed by cost accounting department.


• Assisting in the analysis of the aging of Inventory and the calculation of markdown reserve needed for both finished goods and samples.

Requirements     

• Business administration education (HBO or equivalent) with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience within a finance department, preferable in an international environment.


• Strong computer skills (including advanced use of Excel, Access,knowledge of JDE, JBA)


• Accurate and attention to detail.


• Desire to work in a team environment.


• Have the ability to work within tight deadlines.


• Excellent knowledge of English and one more European language (preferably Italian)


• Demonstrating adaptability, maintains a positive and productive attitude in times of ambiguity and uncertainty; adapts quickly to new responsibilities, requirements and tasks.

Salary Indication:

€2500 - €3000 per month
