Position profile :
As Coordinator, eCommerce you control what is presented on the website for Footwear, Apparel and Accessories. You forecast what products are going to sell on the website and you control how they are going to be presented online. You proactively monitor, analyze, and report on the web statistics. From these reports you advise the various product teams on a strategic level regarding sales opportunities. Working with the product teams you create action plans to improve sales. You have ultimate ownership of eCommerce assortment.
Main Tasks :
• Develop and execute online marketing plans for Footwear, Apparel and Accessories in collaboration with Marketing Brand team, Buyers, Planners, and Merchandising managers to ensure website merchandising and promotional efforts achieve sales objectives, and are inline with brand attributes, catalog and brick & mortar merchandising, external site partners and other marketing/advertising initiatives.
• Prepares a plan-o-gram for each merchandising campaign, identifying every asset for home and category pages, its deployment and removal date. Requests associated graphics from Creative Services.
• Gathering and dispatch of photos of product samples.
• Gathering product information/product changes from the product divisions including trend information and incorporate in photo/copy production.
• Daily Internet site management with commercial (traffic/sales) and conversion of sales objectives to the ecommerce website.
• Content Management for product information.
• Consultation with Retail Buyers.
• Product oriented sales planning/campaign planning with Product & Marketing teams.
• Benchmark competition.
• Create innovative and commercial assortment plans for the online shop inline with strategy and KPI targets.
• Analyze sell-through results and create assortment plans which reflect past seasons success, product and economic trends and future rollout plans.
• Enters website content into the merchandising/publishing module, and deploys to production environment, refreshing content on home and category pages at least weekly.
• Generates and implements internet marketing ideas for special promotions associated with sporting events, new product launches, new athletic technology, etc.
• Guarding and redirecting design (Article presentation) & usability (being in line with brand concept and image).
• Responsibility of creating new eCommerce content (picture, sounds, etc.)
• Review SKU (Stock Keep Unit) performance daily/weekly to optimize content & sales.
• Coordinate, maintain, and further develop reporting of the eCommerce website
• Ongoing improvement of the functionality of the web shops.
• Proactively gather knowledge concerning new developments within the market.
• Identify potential sports/fashion trends media, music, sports, Weekly Updates
• Maintain market developments reports (consumer and competitor).
Requirements :
The ideal candidate will be a marketing / retail professional with experience in an internet retail environment, and an instinct for providing on-line shoppers with the products and presentation they desire.
• A minimum of 2 years of eCommerce experience. The ideal candidate will have a Merchandising background with proven track record of success.
• A BS / BA degree, Retail experience in a similar position preferred.
• Requires familiarity with Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint ), knowledge of Internet language and browsers.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once, and use analytics to drive business decisions.
• Entrepreneurial, with a true "can-do" attitude to assure growth for eCommerce business
• Demonstrate capacity to work in a complex environment where decision making is shared between multiple groups, and execution requires persistence and drive.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong sense of urgency.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage own workload.
• Fluency in English (verbal & written)
• Excellent written, verbal communication and negotiation skills.
• Able to collaborate well with business partners.
• Ability to work with all levels of management.
• Interest in sports / fashion retailing.
• Culturally aware, some exposure to working within different cultures.
